She gave just the right amount of local history to bring the stories to life. She is quite knowledgeable and answered questions and threw in "lagniappes" of extra historical tidbits. She stayed afterwards to answer general questions about New Orleans and things to do. We would definitely recommend this tour, and Lisa in particular!

This experience not only takes you to eat some of NOLA’s finest staples, Lisa was also full of knowledge about the history of the city and plenty of recommendations for the rest of your stay. Bring plenty of questions, good walking shoes, and empty bellies!
Lisa was awesome!! She is knowledgeable and took us to awesome locations. The sample sizes at each place were adequate and she made sure each person got a serving. She also provided recommendations for other locations depending on what you’re looking for (restaurants and bars). Last note, although it is a food tour, she also provided historical information as we walked which is an added plus in my book.

When my husband and I take trips, we always do tours. We took a month long trip in November, stopping at 9 cities. We did 2 to 4 tours in each city. When we were in New Orleans we took the tour with Lisa. I have to say, without a doubt, she was the BEST tour guide I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing!! The tour was very interesting and we enjoyed all of the stops but because of her true interest & love for New Orleans she was able to give a fabulous tour, like no other. Not only was she extremely knowledgable, she was also very friendly & personable, making everyone feel like friends. Even after the tour was over, Lisa took the time to talk with us about many interesting New Orleans facts. She also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and other things that she thought we may like to do. She really made our New Orleans stop our favorite of all the cities on our vacation. We definitely recommend doing a tour with Lisa. You'll be glad that you did!

Just finished a food tour of the New Orleans French Quarter with our excellent guide Lisa! We sampled a variety of NOLA specialty foods. All the food was super delicious, but my personal favorite was the buttery and cheesy chargrilled oysters. What made the tour stand out was Lisa's personal knowledge and explanation of all the foods and NOLA history. She even pointed out interesting tidbits of NOLA history and sights as we wandered from restaurant to restaurant. Would highly recommend this food tour to any first time visitors to NOLA!

Our group of 5 adults enjoyed a guided French Quarter tour with Lisa. She possesses a wealth of knowledge about New Orleans, its history and the culture. Our group loved the stories and the way in which Lisa share's them. She's not dramatic or theatrical (like some of the other tours that we've been on). She's very informative and fun. Also, she was kind enough to give us a lot of "lagniappe" along the way. Wear comfy walking shoes and bring water. If you go on a New Orleans tour, you definitely want to go on one with Lisa!

A wonderful and informative haunted tour! So much fun to learn the history of this town. Our tour guide Lisa was very factual in her tour. She wasn't dramatic, just factual and I really loved that. It was fun and informative to have a guided tour and I would actually do this same tour again, which can't be said for other tours. She took the time to answer our questions and show us a couple pictures she had. I would absolutely recommend taking this tour with Lisa as your guide!

She shared so many stories with us and also enlightened us with lots of history about NOLA. One of the reasons we came here, was to see the LaLaurie mansion. Lisa was a wealth of information and added so much to the facts we already knew! We really enjoyed the tour and will definitely be back!
